Alton J. Ozenne

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Alton J. Ozenne, 70, who passed away suddenly on December 23, 2022 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Pastor Brandon Edwards of Highland Baptist Church in New Iberia will conduct the funeral services. Lynn Guidry will be the lector, and interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. 
Survivors include wife, Francine Ozenne; daughters, Brooke (Jeremy) Breaux and Hillary (Charlie) Broussard; and three grandsons, Jett Breaux, Levi Broussard, and Isaac Broussard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rae and Alton J. Ozenne, Sr.; and his half brother Jimmy Barnette.
Alton was a native of New Iberia and resident of Lafayette since 1980. He was a reputable architect in Lafayette for over 40 years, and was a member of the American Institute of Architects. 
The family requests that visitation be held on Thursday between the hours of 10 am - 1 pm.
