Andrew Everett Couie

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Friday, March 22, 2024 between the hours of 9:00 am - 1:00 pm in Walters Funeral Home for Andrew Everett Couie, 27, who passed away March 18, 2024. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. 

Survivors include his parents, William and Cindy Lea Couie of Vidalia; sister, Caylee Marie Couie and her fiance Justin Stevens of Vidalia; maternal grandmother, Nancy Anderson of Lafayette; two uncles, Tommy and his wife Camila Anderson, and Brad Anderson, both of Lafayette; nephew, Cassius Stevens of Vidalia; special friend, Kristen Barras of Youngsville; and his special furry pets, Leo and Turbo.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Anderson; great-grandparents, Wilbur and Wilimena Hurling, and Leona Irwin; and one uncle, Bobby Anderson.

Andrew was a native of Vidalia and resident of Lafayette for most of his life. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Pallbearers will be Justin Stevens, Michael Anderson, Connon Anderson, Craig Brister, Shane Douet, and Dustin Comeaux. Honorary Pallbearers are Tommy Anderson and Brad Anderson.
