Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Crossroads Church for Billy Barrett, Jr., 64, who passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Rachael Barrett; one daughter, Bonnie Comeaux and her husband Adam; three sons, Bryan Barrett and his wife Heather, Brady Barrett and his wife Shayla, and Blake Barrett; his father, Billy Barrett, Sr.; one sister, Connie and her husband “Smokey” Stover, Jr.; and six grandchildren, Skylar Barrett, Alex Barrett, Ryder Barrett, Demi Barrett, Wyatt Comeaux, and Kinley Barrett.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Nita Barrett.
A lifelong resident of Lafayette, and a local business owner, Billy enjoyed traveling, RV’ing, hunting, cooking, and serving the Lord. He was a member of Trinity Christian Center in Forest Hill, LA.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Barrett, Brady Barrett, Blake Barrett, Briggs Blanchard, Adam Comeaux, and Ian Landry.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted to fund missions that were close to his heart.
