Charles Lege

Charles Robert Lege of Carencro passed away at his residence on July 12, 2018. He was 75 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Lege of Carencro; two daughters, Andrenette Marie Dugal of Richmond, TX and Marinette Ann Darby of Bellville, TX; one brother, Jimmy Lege of Orange, TX; five grandchildren, Brooke Andrea Manzano, Devynne Denae Diaz, Sarah Nichole Darby, Baylee Marie Bartley, and Seth Michael Darby; and three great-grandchildren, Landon David Manzano, Layla Grace Manzano, and Ansleigh Elyse Diaz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Sonnier and Charles Lege, Sr.
Charles was a native of Rayne and resident of Carencro for the past 39 years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during peacetime, and member of Woodmen of the World.  He was an employee of Master Builders for some time, and the owner/operator of Rayne Apiary Honey Company prior to retirement. In his free time Charles enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and building furniture.
