Memorial services will be held Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11:00 am at Youngsville First Baptist Church for Clarence H. Thrash, 83, who passed away July 21, 2022 at Calcutta House.
Pastor Chris Fuselier will conduct the funeral services.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am at Youngsville First Baptist and continue until the time of service.
Survivors include his wife Patricia; children, Tracey Thrash Whidden and her husband Jonathan, Robert Dean Thrash and his wife Debra, and Randall Wood Thrash and his wife Pamela; step-children, Nora B. Haile and her husband Scott, Nancy B. Wiebelt, and Frank Brown and his wife Heather; siblings Beverly T. Lee and W. Virgil Thrash and his wife Nancy; five grandchildren, Brandie Butler, Alyssa Pitts, Parker Thrash, Morgan Lemley, and Alex Thrash; five step-grandchildren, Dominic "Nicky" Hamsa, Adam Jo Wiebelt, Lucy Wiebelt, Aiden Brown, and Asher Brown; and two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Nicholas Butler.
He was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Joyce Ann Thrash; parents, Ellis H. and Joseph W. Thrash; and one grandson, A.J. Thrash.
Clarence was a native of LaGrange, GA and resident of Lafayette, LA for the past five years. He served in the United States Army for four years and Army Reserves for 16 years. Memorial contributions can be made in Clarence's name to the Calcutta House/Hospice of Acadiana by
