Danny Brown

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Danny Ray Brown, 72, who passed away March 21, 2022. Deacon Cody Miller will conduct the funeral services. Stephanie James will provide the musical selections. Interment will be held in Gallant Fields, the exclusive veterans' section of Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Eliane Brown of Erath; four daughters, Stacey (Jarret) Lopez, Holley (Kevin) Hoffman, Brandy (Bryan) Hebert, and Ashley Brown; one brother, Gary Brown; eleven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Truet Brown, mother, Lois Brown, and sister, Terrie Brown.

Danny dedicated much of his life to the United States Army and its veterans. He served during the Vietnam Conflict; and was a member of AmVets Post 2007, American Legion Post 241,  Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5153, Military Order of the Purple Heart Post 504, and was an associate member of the Marine Corps League Post 488.

Pallbearers for the service will be Mike LeBlanc, Jerry Broussard, Shelby Lafitte, and Glen Suire.

The family requests that visitation begin at 9:00 am and continue until service time.
