David LeBlanc

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Church Point for David Wayne LeBlanc, 60, who passed away April 7, 2018.  Deacon Josh LeBlanc will conduct the services. Nick Mirza will be the lector; Naomi Broussard will provide the musical selections. Burial will follow the services in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will take place at the church prior to the service from 8:00 - 9:00 am. A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 am.
Survivors include his daughter, Tabitha LeBlanc; three sisters, Earline LeBlanc Mirza and husband Nick of Lafayette, Linda LeBlanc Girouard and husband Paul of Cypress, Tex., and Wanda "Sue" LeBlanc Henson and husband Charles of Bakersfield, Calif.; two grandchildren, Aaron M. LeBlanc and Avery LeBlanc of Bremerton, Wash.; his girlfriend, Marie Scott; and housemate, Ann Marie Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Isaac LeBlanc and Eula Mae Fabacher; one son, David Wayne LeBlanc Jr., and two sisters, Elaine "Tuttie" Rodrigue and Thelma "Tiny" LeBlanc.
David was a lifetime resident of Lafayette. He was an independent contractor working for Iberia Rentals at the time of death.
