David Livingston

Lafayette resident David Livingston passed away suddenly on the morning of November 19, 2024. He was 85 years old. 

He is survived by his wife Susan Livingston; four children, Kim Laliberte and husband Dwayne, Beth Livingston and Ray Boudreaux, Marse Livingston, and Claire Livingston; one brother, Larry Livingston & wife Sheila; one granddaughter, Kristyn Freyou & husband Kaleb; one great-granddaughter Wren; one sister-in-law, Tannie Delcambre & husband Jimmie; two nephews, David Livingston and Lawrence Livingston; two nieces; Lori and Teri; and his very special friends for life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Livingston and Jo Broussard; one brother, Loren Livingston; and one brother-in-law, Barry Landry.

David served in the U.S. Army as an Army Ranger during the Vietnam War. He retired having attained the rank of Major. He was totally devoted to our military and his many friends who served. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
