Editha Verret

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Editha Verret, 84, who passed away peacefully February 9, 2013 at Kindred Hospital in Houston, TX. Deacon Cody Miller will conduct the funeral services. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park.
Survivors include five daughters, Deborah Landry of Broussard, Sandra Racca (Dallas) of Broussard, Vanessa Wainright of Lake Charles, Tammy Green Landry of Dayton, TX, and Melissa Green Boyle (Roger) of Dayton, TX; one son, Donald Green of Dayton, TX; and one sister, Edith Mallet of New Iberia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Verret; parents Adrien and Anita Vincent; four sons, Francis Verret, Terry Verret, Roger Verret, and Robert Verret; and two grandsons, Darrell Wayne Landry and Steven Ray Hall.
Pallbearers will be Robert Green, Donald Green, Jonathan David Wainright, Dawson Allen Wainright, Roger Boyle and David Verret.
The family requests that visitation be held Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 12:45 p.m. at Walters Funeral Home.
