Edwin Gaudin, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Edwin Joseph Gaudin Jr., 65, who passed away March 18, 2021. Father Daniel Edwards, pastor of St. Jules Catholic Church, will be the Celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his father, Edwin Joseph Gaudin, Sr. of Lafayette; two daughters, Candyce (Mark) Cina of Lafayette and  Michelle (Kevin) Heyman of San Antonio, Tex.; two sisters, Cheryl Gaudin of Lafayette and Pam Breaux of Carencro; one brother, Gary Gaudin of Eunice; and four grandchildren, Cecilia Cina, Cade Cina, Mackenzie Hayman, and Aedon Hayman.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Gaudin.
Ed was a resident of Carencro. He was an agent with Woodmen Life for 35 years. While with Woodman Life, he was involved with taking children to summer camp, Acadian Village, Zoo Lights and Build a Bear.
Pallbearers will be Cade Cina, Aedon Hayman, Mark Cina, Jeremy Breaux, Joseph Whitmore, Kevin Hayman.
The family requests that visitation will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 3:00 - 8:00 pm, and resume Tuesday morning at 10:00 am until time of service. A rosary will be led by Mark Cina at 6:00 pm on Monday evening.
