Eldean Martin

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at  12:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Eldean Martin, 78, who passed away April 13, 2024 at her home in Lafayette. Rev. Msgr. Keith DeRouen, pastor of Our Lady Queen of Angels in Opelousas, will conduct the funeral services. Jodi Bollich, organist and vocalist, will perform, "Amazing Grace", "Precious Lord, Take My Hand", "Ave Maria", "On Eagle's Wings", and "The Lord's Prayer". Interment will follow the service in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. 

Survivors include husband, Donald Martin of Lafayette; three sons, Jeff (Julie Simon) Martin, Mark (Sarah Morgese) Martin, and David J. (Clare Bellerby) Martin, all of Lafayette; and six grandchildren, Sebastian Martin, Grace Martin, Alex Martin, Jake Martin, Josie Martin, and Antonella Martin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Aline and William Turner.

The family requests that visitation be held on Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of service.
