October 18, 2047 — February 5, 2013

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 7, 2013, 1:00 p.m. in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Evelyn LeBlanc, 65, who passed away peacefully February 5, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Deacon Cody Miller will conduct the service. Valerie Andrus, soloist and instrumentalist, will perform, "Here I Am, Lord," "Hail Mary, Gentle Woman," "On Eagles' Wings," and "You Are Mine." Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, James D. LeBlanc of Lafayette; two daughters, Ali Wiltz and her fiance Clay Vincent of Abbeville, and Francine Pinkley and her husband Kyle of Lafayette; three sons, Bernard Wiltz, III of Abbeville, Ryan Wiltz and his wife Emily of Church Point, and Jesse LeBlanc of Lafayette; two sisters, Jan Martin of Bacliff, TX and Sydney Mire of Columbia, MS; ten grandchildren, Parker, Ethan, Ivy, Thomas, and Sydney Wiltz; Riley and Ramsie Baumgardner; and Audrey, Madeline and Lucy Pinkley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the former Aline Davison and Thomas Gauthier.

Evelyn's first priority in life was her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cooking Sunday dinners for her family. Reading and fishing were her other passions. Throughout her many illnesses, Evelyn remained loving and caring to those who surrounded her. She was the embodiment of selflessness and understanding.

Pallbearers will be Bernard Wiltz, III, Ryan Wiltz, Jesse LeBlanc, Kyle Pinkley, Clay Vincent, and Joey LeBlanc. Honorary pallbearers are her three grandsons, Ethan Wiltz, Thomas Wiltz and Riley Baumgardner, and two nephews, Charles Colley and Aaron Martin.

The family requests that visitation be held on Wednesday, February 6, from 1:00-8:00 p.m., and resume Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be led by Deacon Miller Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.
