Glynn D. Patin

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022 in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Glynn D. Patin, 73, who passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022.  Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate the funeral ceremony.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.

Visitation hours will be observed at Walters Funeral Home on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.

Glynn is survived by his wife, Rose Boudreaux Patin of Henderson;  one daughter, Lori P. Guidry and her husband Dean of Lafayette;  one son, Glynn D. Patin Jr. and his wife Amber Miller of Prosper, TX;  three sisters, Deanna Patin, Cheryll Richard, and Glenda Patin;  six grandchildren, Lacey Robin, Nicholas Guidry, Boaz Guidry, Jachin Guidry, Aiden Patin, and Luke Patin;  and one great-granddaughter, Carmen Meche.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley and Lillie C. Patin;  and his grandmother, Edith Cormier.

Glynn was a member of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era.  He was a member of the Goldwing Roadriders Association, and was a firefighter and arson investigator for 20 years with the Lafayette Fire Department.
