Haleigh Parker

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, 11:00 am, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau for Haleigh Parker, 15, who passed away on Friday, February 3, 2012. Father Thomas Madden, Associate Pastor of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church will officiate the ceremony and conduct the funeral service. Lectors will be Lilly Doagi and Lindsey Olivier; giftbearers will be Jessica David and Rachael Smith.
Interment will directly follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Haleigh is survived by her father, Scott Parker of Australia; four sisters, Hanna Smith, Emily Nguyen, and Riley Nguyen of Ocean Springs, MS, and Skyler Parker of Australia; three brothers, Aiden Nguyen of Ocean Springs, MS, Cy Parker and Bryson Parker of Australia; maternal grandmother, Gail Mills of Ocean Springs, MS; and paternal grandparents, Teresa Parker Louviere and Danny Louviere of Sunset.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Tracey Lee Mills.
A native of Biloxi, MS and resident of Sunset for most of her life, Haleigh was an 8th grade student at Sunset Middle School. She enjoyed being a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Church Choir.
Pallbearers will be Justin Stewart, Garrett Thibodeaux, Jason Guidry, Chris Manuel, John Manuel, and Tyler Daigle.
The family requests that visitation be held Monday, February 6, 2012 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm at Walters Funeral Home, and resume Tuesday morning at 9:00 am until 10:30 am. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 on Monday evening at Walters Funeral Home.
