James Carroll Leger

Broussard resident James Carroll Leger, 87, passed away August 13, 2024. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include his siblings Aaron Leger and Claudia Avant; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Velce and Effie Leger; and siblings, Joyce Billeaud and Leonard Leger.

James was a native of Duson and lived in the Lafayette area for his entire life. He enjoyed riding his bike and making antique model wooden cars. He was a musical person; he played the guitar and loved to sing. He will be remembered for finding humor in everything and will be missed dearly by his family.
