Jeanette Touchet

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 10:30 am in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Jeanette Ann Touchet, 76, who passed away June 21, 2021. Father Howard Blessing will be the Celebrant of the funeral mass and will conduct the funeral services. Janie Eatley and David Romero will be the lectors. Musical selections will be sung by Jodi Bollich. Interment will follow the mass in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held Friday between 10:00 am - 7:00 pm, and resume Saturday morning prior to the service at 8:00 am. A rosary will be led by Sr. Doris Roy, S.E.C. at 5:30 pm on Friday evening in the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Michael W. Touchet of Carencro; two children, Danielle Ann (David) Romero of Abbeville and Sean Michael Touchet of Carencro; siblings, Emma Broussard and Warren (Joan) Broussard, both of Baton Rouge; two grandchildren, Dillan M. (Kasey) Touchet of Leesville and Delaney Romero of Abbeville; and two great-grandchildren, Oliver and Lillian Touchet.
She was preceded in death by her parents, mother, Beauta Marie and Nathan Paul Broussard; two brothers, Clifford and Sanford Broussard; and one sister, Etta Pearl Gauthier.
Pallbearers will be Dillian, Nicholas, Kevin, and Jason Touchet; and Stuart and Darren Broussard.
