John Lantier

John Allen Lantier passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. He was 68 years old.
Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Nancy Lantier of Lafayette; one daughter, Jacqueline Lantier, and her companion Brad Griffith of Lafayette; one son, John Allen Lantier, II, and his companion Jessica Crouch of Lafayette; one brother Don Ray Lantier, and his wife Anita of New Iberia; and six grandchildren, Jacob Allen Cohn, Julie Rose Cohn, Ashly Harrington, Katie Michelle Lantier, Brooke Leigh Lantier, and Cole Griffith.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Broussard Lantier; and his father Jhon Lantier.
John is a Veteran of the United States Navy, and served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his friends, family, and especially his grandchildren.
