Justin Newell

Private, graveside services were held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens for Justin Newell, 42, who passed away on November 14, 2021. He is survived by his father, James Newell Jr. and his stepmom Marlene of Lafayette; sons Cole and Aiden Young; daughter, Madison Young; sisters, Brittney Miller, Lauren Senegal, and Mandy Page; brothers, Mikey Miller, Derek Page, and Johnathon Hernandez; his nanny, Angela Busby; uncles Jerry Newell, Jason Newell, and Carroll Blevins; aunts, Teresa Newell and Kathy Noble; and his companion and children's mother, Hilary Young.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Blevins Miller; paternal grandparents, James Newell Sr. and Mary “Jean” Newell; and maternal grandparents, George Blevins and Mary Lou Sonnier.
Justin was a beloved son, father, brother, and nephew.  His children were his greatest blessing and meant the world to him. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and had a passion for landscaping. He will be greatly missed and forever loved.
