Lawrence LeBlanc

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018 in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Lawrence LeBlanc, 71, who passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018.  Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate the services.  Inurnment will take place in Gallant Fields at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation hours will be observed on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m,  A rosary will be prayed on Friday at 11:00 a.m.

Survivors include his wife, Norma LeBlanc of Carencro;  two sons, David J. LeBlanc and his wife Laura of Cecilia,  and Marc J. LeBlanc of Lafayette;  two grandchildren, Gabrielle LeBlanc of Cecilia, and Sophia LeBlanc of Carencro;  four sisters, Gussie Trahan and her husband Dallas,  Clo Broussard, Lona Bourque and her husband James,  and Anna Huval and her husband Daniel;  five brothers, Wallace LeBlanc, Dewey LeBlanc, Harris LeBlanc and his wife Betty, Emery LeBlanc and his wife Connie, and Joe LeBlanc and his wife Belinda.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Hypoline Hebert LeBlanc;  and his father, Alphe LeBlanc.

Lawrence was a 1965 graduate of Judice High School. He proudly served in the United States Army as a sharpshooter during the Vietnam Conflict, and was employed as a letter carrier by the U.S. Government Postal Service for 42 years prior to retirement.
