Mary Jane Siracusa

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Morgan City, LA for Mary Jane Siracusa, 72, who passed away at her home on Friday, September 14, 2018. She was surrounded by her family.

Mary Jane is survived by two daughters, Angela Siracusa and her husband Winford Boudreaux of Denham Springs, and Anna Siracusa of Carencro; two sons, Michael Siracusa of Carencro, and Nickie Siracusa of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, Kerri Siracusa, Grae Siracusa, Rocco Siracusa, and Raimi Boudreaux; four great-grandchildren, Ethan Powell, Aidan Powell, Gavin Siracusa, and Emma Miles; her husband, Louis Siracusa of Denham Springs; and her niece, Laura Carpenter Caizza of New Jersey.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice Dolores Giroir Peebles and J.W. “Dubb” Peebles; and her grandparents, Birdie and Addio Giroir.

Mary Jane lived a creative life and was a talented creator of anything she touched. She loved traveling and had many adventures. She also loved learning and earning her Master’s degree was a highlight in her life. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her life is a great example of love, family, and forgiveness. Her journey in death will lead her to a peaceful place where she will be dancing with her Daddy in their living room while her Momma watches.
