Michele Guidry

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Michele Guidry, 63, who passed away August 13, 2021 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Father Clint Trahan of Sacred Heart Church in Port Barre will conduct the funeral services.Sherry Guidry and Selena Lormand will be the lectors.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday between 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 12:30 pm prior to the services.
Michele is survived by her son, John David Guidry of Carencro; her sister Yvette Gauthier Burridge of Lafayette; and her brother Paul M. Gauthier and his wife Charlotte of Rayne; along with many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the former Lou Ella Mire and Paul A. Gauthier; one sister, Paulette G. Boyett, and one nephew, David Paul Burridge.
Michele was a native of Crowley and resident of Carencro for most of her life. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 9822 Auxiliary, and an avid bingo player. She was employed as a lab technician in the food and beverage industry for many years.
