Margan Anne Soudelier

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 12:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Margan Anne Soudelier, who passed away October 9, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was 81 years old.

Rev. Msgr. Keith DeRouen, pastor of Our Lady Queen of Angels Church will conduct the funeral services. Jodi Bollich, organist and soloist, will perform, "Amazing Grace", "How Great Thou Art", "You Raise Me Up", and "Just A Closer Walk With Thee". Interment will follow the service in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. 

Visitation hours will be held Saturday morning from 9:00 am until the time of service. A rosary will be led by Carl Soudelier at 11:00 am. 

Survivors include her husband, Lanny John Soudelier of Youngsville; daughter, Tracie (Chris) Simon of Maurice; step-daughter, Brigitte (Michael) Black of Katy, TX; son, Randy Young of Duson; three sisters, Jeanette Butcher of Lafayette, Charlene Perry of Lafayette,and Cathy Mouton of Scott; four grandchildren, Lensey Parker, Christopher Simon, Jenny Morgan, and Ashton Young; three step-grandchildren, Katerina Babin, Killian Black, and Kaven Black; and three great-grandchildren, Liliah Margan LaGrange, Abigail Joy Morgan, and Micaiah Evelyn Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Meta Mouton and Ashton Butcher; one brother, Preston Mouton; and one great-granddaughter, Karley Renee Stelly,

Pallbearers will be Jace Soudelier, Carl Soudelier, Randy Young, Andrew Ernest, Lance Lognion, and Chris Simon. Honorary pallbearers include Christopher Simon.
