Percy Parro

Private, graveside services will be held on February 27, 2021 in Sacred Heart Cemetery of Baldwin, La. for Percy Parro, who passed away on February 1, 2021. He was 82 years old.
He is survived by his beloved niece, Leslie Sisk, her husband Stan, and their family, who took care of him for the past 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, the former Mable Hebert and Alexander Parro Sr.; and two brothers, Alex Perro Jr. and Ernest "Shot" Perro.
Percy was an educator his entire life. He worked in the classrooms and later as a principal in the St. Mary Parish School System, which he retired from after serving many years. He earned his Doctorate in Education, and was an accomplished poet.
He will be missed by his family and the many students he taught over the years.
