Rebecca Breaux

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 2:30 pm in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Rebecca Sue Breaux, 75, who passed away on May 31, 2012. Deacon Randy Hyde will officiate the ceremony and conduct the funeral services. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
A native of Mounds, LA and longtime resident of Carencro, Rebecca was born on December 16, 1936 to Jessie and Loyce Fike. She is survived by her sister Wanda Gautreaux of Gulf Port, MS; her brother Harold Fike of Carencro; four granddaughters, Misti Breaux of Baton Rouge, Heidi Breaux of Lafayette, Sheree Morvant of Lafayette, and Kinzee Morvant of Lafayette; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carroll Breaux; her parents, Jessie and Loyce Fike, her son Michael Keith Breaux; her daughter Sheri Morvant, and her brother, Jesse Fike.
Pallbearers for the service will be Lonnie Breaux, Chanse Lombas, Tommy Fike, David Gautreaux, Jess Fike, Kwin Savoie and Shawn Fike.
The family requests that visitation be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 3:00 - 8:00 pm, and resume Sunday morning at 10:00 am until time of service. A rosary will be prayed Saturday evening at 7:00 pm.
