A gathering of friends and family will meet to celebrate the life of Rebecca Ann Hudson Courville, 57, who passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014 at her residence. The gathering will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the residence of her son, Jakah Courville, 113 Smart Park Lane, Carencro, Louisiana, (337) 565-6793.
Survivors include her spouse, Bobby Gene Courville; one son Jakah Cain and his wife Jessica Courville of Carencro; one sister, Margaret Hudson Walet of Lafayette; one brother, William Maxwell Hudson of New Iberia; two grandchildren, Jakah Gauge Courville and Jane Ann Courville of Carencro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Maxwell Hudson and Hazel Metz Hudson.
Mrs. Courville was a native of New Iberia. She was a loving wife who spent her days caring for her husband and sharing in the joy and laughter of her son and his family.
The family would like to give special thanks to University Medical Center Oncology Department for their care and support.
