Rose Greer

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Rose M. Greer, 64, who passed away December 3, 2013 at her residence in Youngsville. Pastor Todd Menard of Family Life Church will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her husband Earl W. Greer; two daughters, Patty M. Romero of Maurice and Donna Lynn LeBlanc of Youngsville; two step-daughters, Susan L. Chapman of Chattanooga, TN, and Shannon L. Hagan of Cleveland, TN; three sisters, Sarah A. Racca of Broussard, Judy A. Tapley of Winnsboro, TX, and Kathleen Trahan of Youngsville; three brothers, James Guidry of Youngsville, Jimmy Guidry of Youngsville, and Roy Guidry of Scott; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the former Evelyn Alleman and Wilson Guidry; one son, Richard Jude Cormier; and one brother, Timothy James Guidry.
Rose was a native of Lafayette and resident of Youngsville for the past 12 years. She was a member of Family Life Church.
Pallbearers will be Chris Hebert, Kylan LeBlanc, Roy Guidry, James Guidry, Jay Guidry and Justin Guidry. Honorary pallbearers include Donovan Guidry, Cory Trahan, Mitchell Romero, Canaan Romero, Jimmy Guidry, and Jerry Chapman.
The family requests that visitation be held Thursday, December 5, 2013, from 1:00 - 8:00 pm, and resume Friday morning from 8:00 am until time of service.
