A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at St. Basil Catholic Church for Rose Faucheux Lee, 70, who passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. The Rev. Donavan Labbe, Pastor of St. Basil Catholic Church, will officiate the ceremony. Lectors will be Larenda Ougel and Marvin Travasos; gift bearers will be Anita Miller, Calli Parker, and Beth Lee. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
Visitation will be held Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 am until 12:30 pm at Walters Funeral Home.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Angela Lee Greaud of Crowley; one son, Nolty Lee and his wife Elizabeth of Raleigh, MS; three sisters, Norma Duet and her husband Calvin of Galliano, Lynne Duet of Golden Meadow, and Faith Serigny of Golden Meadow; one brother, Darren Faucheux of Raceland; five grandchildren, Londyn Buchanan of Crowley, Calli Parker of Raleigh, MS, Harlie Rockwell of Raleigh, MS, Landon Sweet of Raleigh, MS, and Mason Sweet of Raleigh MS; two great-grandchildren, Kaylie Rockwell and Daxton Rockwell, and her godchild, Larenda Ougel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Virgie Faucheux; and her son-in-law, Steven Greaud.
Rose was born in Houma, LA, and called Golden Meadow, LA, home before settling in Lafayette, LA. She was a woman of immense strength and unwavering faith, dedicating her life to raising her two children as a devoted single mother.
Family was at the heart of everything she did, and she found her greatest joy in spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren. She embraced life with a spirited passion, finding happiness in bowling, dancing, and crafting. Among her favorite pastimes were glamping adventures in her RV, where she created cherished memories under the open sky.
Rose's warmth, resilience, and love left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she touched.
Pallbearers will be Londyn Buchanan, Landon Sweet, Mason Sweet, Darren Faucheux, Dustin Faucheux, Calvin Duet, Chauncey Serigny, and Chaney Serigny.
