Ruby Rabeaux

Lafayette native Ruby Rabeaux passed away on June 9, 2023. She was 75 years old.

She is survived by her two sons, Kevin Rabeaux and his wife Heather of Carencro, and Brian Rabeaux and his wife Heather of Austin, Tex.; her sister Mary Prejean of Duson; her brother Francis Touchet of Duson; three grandchildren, Victoria, Ethan, and Lauren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Rabeaux; and two brothers, Gerald and Jerry Touchet.

Ruby enjoyed spending time with her family cooking, word puzzles, playing bingo, and going to the casino. She was employed as a teller at Evangeline Downs for many years.

The family extends its thanks to Courtyard Manor for the care given to Ruby; and to Traditions Health Hospice, especially Darian, Reese, and Julie.
