Timothy Hunt, Sr.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 12:15 pm at Christ Gospel Church of Lafayette for Timothy W. Hunt Sr., 62, who passed away December 27, 2021. Reverend Ralph Manecke, pastor of Christ Gospel Church will conduct the funeral services. Visitation will take place beginning at 9:00 am on Thursday morning in Christ Gospel Church of Lafayette. Interment will follow the services in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Hunt of Breaux Bridge; two daughters, Rachel Dautreuil of Breaux Bridge and Lydia (Dannial) Hayes of Denver, CO; one son, Timothy (Joy) Hunt Jr. of Youngsville; one sister, Lydia Yvonne Manecke of Rayne; three brothers, Gary Hunt of Duson, Barry Hunt of Clarksville, IN, and Andy Hunt Sr. of Mereaux, LA; and eight grandchildren,Callie Dautreuil, Annie Dautreuil, Adriana Hunt, Timothy W. Hunt III, Ezra Blaise Hunt, Asher Hayes, Dax Hayes, and Jed Hayes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen Ruth and Robert Leroy Hunt; and siblings Bob Hunt and Laurie Carriere.

Tim was a native of Elmhurst IL, and resident of Breaux Bridge for the past 45 years. He was the owner of Tim Hunt Construction, Inc.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Hunt Jr., Gary Hunt, Barry Hunt, Andy Hunt Sr., Andy Hunt Jr., and William Walker.
