We can produce a personal tribute video that can be played at the service and online. Simply provide us with the photographs you want to include and we will transform them into a video celebration of your treasured memories. DVDs or digital files of the video are also available.

Ordering Flowers

We make it easy for friends and family to send flowers to your home or service to honor your loved one. We have partnered with local florists to offer the convenience of ordering directly from the obituary page of our website. You can also use this feature to select the flowers you would like at the service. This is a secure way to choose beautiful arrangements from the privacy and comfort of your home.

Sharing Service Details

We reduce the stress of contacting those who need the details of the service for your loved one. We post the dates and times of the service as part of the online memorial on our website. When people walk through the entrance of our University Ave. facility, they are amazed at how spacious, inviting, and warm the space feels. Enter into our grand lobby, with multiple seating arrangements for family and friends to reminisce and catch up on each other's lives. We have two visitation rooms, the Live Oak Room, and the Cypress Room, down the generous corridor to the left, and our tastefully-designed Sunrise Chapel to the right. Our chapel seats over 220 people with ease, and can facilitate both Roman Catholic and non-denominational funeral services. Lastly, our Reminisce Room, equipped with three, individual family counters and mini-fridges to give space for refreshments.

Simply put, arranging a funeral for yourself or a loved one is not an event most people look forward to. We'd like to think that our impeccable level of service makes it more palatable, softens the blow somehow. We pride ourselves in going beyond the expectation. We don't just arrange for military honors; we hunt down the missing discharge papers from National Archives to make those military honors a possibility. We'll not just give you recommendations on catering or refreshments for your guests, we'll order, pick up, and set up the food in our Reminisce Room, and have it neatly boxed and delivered to your home after the funeral. Or should you choose, The Gift Shop at Walters has gifts available for purchase at the funeral home, and will deliver the gift directly to the family in their visitation room.
